Thank you and congratulations on getting such an important meeting off the ground with such an expert faculty in such a potentially far-reaching forum.  By doing this, you are taking the still fragmentary knowledge and experience and bringing them together as a sub-specialty.  

You have done a great deal for our field since we met 18 (!) years ago, just before you launched Child Development Media, and this is the many-layered cake&#039;s frosting.  (I know that&#039;s a strange way to allude to trauma, but by finally shining a light, the resulting help for affected children and their families can become a source of great relief, in many cases enough so they can get their lives back, including dessert.)
